photoblog image Sun Dance

Sun Dance

Dedicated to Mista Skee. He quite correctly pointed one of the previous posts lacked Dynamic.

Anyway, got to be dead honest this evening because Mista S has seen the original so. As with yesterday the blur is non-digital however, unlike yesterday's image this photo has been toned with some foliage elements taken away with about a 30% crop. "But the rock stays cos I like it" - so get over it :-).

Many thank's to Tracy, she just really understood exactly what I was trying to achieve with these photo's.

I may post one more from Brimham tomorrow but it's a post that starts to take me outside my comfort zone but it is the reason I joined Shutterchance.

Going Climbing today so may not get around to comment.

All the best

Oh. My. Days. Now I dislike superlatives but I think on shutterchance we'll be struggling just a bit. This is awesome. Enjoy climbing

Loving this shot.

Best so far, the rock actually works this time tongue

Suby
Mal: I new I'd make Suby like the Rock eventually. All the best Suby. Mal
Mal this is sensational. They just keep getting better. The rock can stay. The silhouette almost appears to be a giant hand that tracy is jumping onto.
Mal: I had not spotted that Nev but your right, wish I'd thought of a different tittle now. Mal
Mal, this shot rocks!!!
Mal: Hee hee, your off your ROCK-er Jide, thank you Mal

Impressed with what you're doing...well done.
Mal: Thank you Barbara, I really appreciate that. Mal
I love this series of images. Right up my street.Recording in camera movement is one of the most exciting aspects of photography, you don't know what you are going to get and the results can be stunning, as here. I took loads of dance floor shots at my daughters wedding at the weekend. I have published one, mixed response.
Mal: Hi Alistair, thank you for that comment about movement, I shall check out your post that you mention. Could you please send me the link to your daughters wedding photo's again, I've deleted it by mistake - sorry. Mal
really nice back lighting and movement!
Mal: Thank you, I appreciate it. Mal

cr=9/10
Mal: Thank you Samarth, I was not sure if it would be percieved as being to weird and blurry by some. Appreciate your honesty as ever. Mal

Wow...Shot of the day Mal!!!
Mal: What can I say Petra, thank you, glad you liked it. Mal
what sort of climbing are you doing today?

is it an indoor wall or somewhere outdoors?

are you a really confident climber?
Mal: Today Russell it was indoor climbing at Leeds wall, going tomorrow also. I have been a climber for a number of years but rusty and weak of late.

I'm an extremely confident climber untill the point at which I fall off!! As most are!

I think it would be interesting to recreate some of these shots at some point. Mainly because obvs they're all about me but also because I'm curious to see how they have changed both emotionally, physically and creatively.
Where is your camera eye now and what does it see when recreating the past - I'd like to know.
