Warp Factor

Thank you for the comments yesterday and I again welcome any silly/funny comments & jokes! Thankyou to SheepLover who inspired me to re-name yesterdays image, so if you have a better name for this image please let me have it.

Taken just before the previous York Eye shot, not much else to add really

PS work : sharpen only (camera set on tungsten white balance mode)

All the best Mal

Wow, Mal! This is a great shot! I love the way you get the motion blur... great composition, too! Nicely done! Jo

Very nice shot Mal. Really like that blue background and the motion blur. The blur looks so ...clean and smooth. Does that make sense? It looks very well done smile

I like this one even better than the one you posted a day or so ago, comp and perspective are very pleasing to my eye
...how dark was it when you took this? Had me confused for awhile, till i saw the info..
A well combined light and speed. It looks like a jewell.

I do prefer your original shot, not so keen on the intrusions on the right hand side. They seem at odds with the pure lines and clinical white look of the moving structure. The large carrier bag on the hub looks particularly strange! Maybe all this needs is a more inventive crop because the shot itself is very good.

Well...you did want me back!

They are both great shots mal. i think i prefer the original. only because now that i have read simons post my mind is poisoned about the top right hand corner. what i really like is the whoosh of light (thats a technical term in case you didn't know) under the top left compartment.

Another interesting capture of this ferris wheel. I do enjoy this photo, but i'd have to say that I prefer the other one over this one. - Beau
Great image, I must get down to Central Pier and catch the big wheel before they mothball it for the winter. I never fiddle with the white balance when I am taking the shot, is this what you did or did you change it in your Raw editor? Very interesting effect, the good old serendipity thing again, beats PS filter effects.
