photoblog image ???

This image reminds me of "Many" Bloggers but I want "You" to name who you think they should be. So, "Who are these cheeky monkeys"?

The Rules :

It's just a bit of fun, so please leave the most silly/funny comments you can (just keep it clean and funny Neil, SheepLover, Frederic, Neal, Simon, Louis, Psycho, Master, Colin, Digi and by no means least Pumpkin!) These are the potentially rude commentators!! But hey, I don't care!

All the best. Mal

PS. I forgot about the image! It was taken in a temple near Hakata Japan.

This image reminds me of "Many" Bloggers but I want "You" to name who you think they should be. So, "Who are these cheeky monkeys"?

The Rules :

  • If you care to leave a comment, I would like you to leave 3 names of bloggers that you think these characters best represent (or just 1 or 2 if you wish). If you are particularly bored, tell me why you have chosen these characters?
  • You are not allowed to say Simon, Simon, Simon because that will only result in 1 vote for Simon! (But I may change my mind on that one!!)
  • You can vote as many times as you like.
  • Yes, my name can be used.
  • At the end of play tonight the image will be named after the 3 most mentioned names!

Mal, Malcolm, Malcolm Smart! Well that's 3 by your rules!
Mal: Oh! you amuse me so!
The monkeys represent… To hear, to see and to shut up! and the vote for “Hearing” is for you, Badly. The vote for “shutting up” is for Suby, and the vote for “seeing” (in negative sense) is for Anniestoner, because their photos seem to me a lie.! Is ok?
Mal: smile Very ok with me Jose. Mal wink

potential to be such a controversial game. i just want to get in early in case someone sees a likeness to myself. i will nominate myself as a 4th or 5th out of focus monkey that has been cropped and is laying on a banana lounge.
Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. Another djn tutorial weekend in Blackpool!
Mal: Except these monkey's were wise Digi! wink Mal
Good to see you back. I'm gonna be sneaky and name them after 3 politicians...

Tony, Gordon, and John

I don't have the heart to pick out any fellow shutterchanceers, even though you, Neil and nev would have been strong contenders. Oh sh**, I did it again. Me and my big mouth. LOL!

Technical: Not sure about the inclusion of the base of the frieze...
Mal: Your vote has been registered, you cheeky monkey! Mal

aside from what could be some very serious metaphors to describe blogging life here. Here is my interpretation of the 3 monkeys.

Monkey No. 1 - "Nice colours monkey but your focus seems a bit off" I can't hear you, i can't hear you. make the voices go away.

Monkey No. 2 - *How do tell them that is the ugliest shot i have seen for a while?* "very unusual shot. i like the way you processed her beard "

Monkey No. 3 - *you've got mail!. The suspense is too much. is that comment from Neil, SheepLover, Frederic, Simon, Louis, Psycho, Master, Colin, Digi or Pumpkin.
Mal: I shall register all of your selections in the pool of choices Neal. But I particularly like the beard reference! wink Mal
Jose, Arsene and Fergie.
Premiership managers reaction to one of their players having a 'simulation' in the box!
Okay I dont know if they're bloggers but you never know!
Mal: Are you a politician David? Well side stepped! Mal

Oh that is easy:

Say nothing - bloggers who visit and not comment (many of them) or in the sense of "speak no evil" those who leaves a comment "nice picture" like some signature
See nothing - bloggers who don't visit, or are going through phases like nev and then there are the non-bloggers
Hear nothing - bloggers who don't respond to comments - suby is a possibility here

There are many names you can fit to each category, but some are difficult to identify. So based on these categories try for (left to right)

Suby - don't respond to comments, although he does get around on the site smile

Arsidrajesh - for blogging the female dog with overgrown puppies more than twice and eliciting all those 'nice photo' comments, and requiring only positive comments with his ShMood indicator smile

Nev - is going through a phase not providing us stuff to look at it (he also admitted to wearing thick glasses once) grin

Mal, maybe you should edit a chicken into this picture, for your commentators who don't want to commit to names ... ;-)

Technical: Leave the base of the frieze - it is a nice space for your watermark.
Mal: Hee hee Louis, thank you!

I shall work on the PS skills and get that chicken in there! wink Mal

Like the idea Mal. I'll go for
1. Russell Higgs. He has done so many pictures of himself that he must have done a hear no evil of himself somewhere..
2. Speak no evil I'll agree with popular opinion
3. I'll actually say me, as no-one has actually seen any of my pictures yet, as I haven't got off my butt to post any sad
Mal: Well, SL, 10 OUT OF 10 for putting yourself in the frame! Your vote is registered! Mal

Just now had one of those illuminating moments. The comment i just posted was returned with the message "please mind your language, children use this site too". So i read through the comment carefully and changed the original word (similar to beach but spelled differently) to "female dog" and the comment passed muster.

My english swear word vocabulary has just increased by one! grin
Mal: I agree with every word you said Louis! If I see that bloody dog again, I will screem! It was not funny the first time!!!!! Mal
I'm too new on Shutterchance to name names. I am in complete agreement with Jose-Angel about the Annie Stoner site though.
Mal: So am I Josie, self publicity smacks of despiration!! Mal

i did forgot to mention yourself earlier Mal from the cheeky monkeys so like stevo and rob say you need an inclusion. i would be remiss to say that every time louis posts a bit of animal love machine action i do make one of the 3 gestures above. we all are guilty of being the second monkey when someone clicks themselves to the top of shutter and we don't say anything. Also very often it is too easy to move on and not comment too when a blogger has posted something either emotional or controversial.
Mal: You are too clever for Shutter Neal!! wink Mal
that's a tricky thing if I put Neal in number 1, it could be very mean and if I put you in second I don't know how you will take it, and if for example I put Robin in third I don't know how belgium people handle to be compared to a monkey. so I will take a rain check ! smile
Mal: Those votes are registered my friend! Mal
for obvious reasons, the one who cant see is YOU...the one who is pretty much wanting you to shut your trap is suby...and the one who honestly cant hear a thing is me...
Mal: Your vote is cast Master. Mal

Hi Mal...this question has nothing to do with your photo, but i hope you dont mind asking it here:

I have just a simple canon printer...

OK, I've given it some thought and come to a decision...

The first one is clearly Suby because of his sheer brilliant ability to avoid listening to any constructive feedback whatsoever...ever ever.

The second one...I'll come back to that one.

The third one has got to be PhotoSam as whatever he comments on he gives a score between 7.5-8.5 out of 10. I'm therefore suspicious that he may be using a random number generator that is clearly faulty rather than actually looking at the shots.

Back to the second one...well that's probably me, speaking my mind, being honest with what I feel but always risking things...I should probably go with the majority now and again, keep my mouth shut and just post "nice shot"...but that wouldn't be me.

By the way..."nice shot" wink
Mal: I was with you till the end bit!!! Watch your back Mr S! Mal

I see Samarth never marked you out of 10 though wink
way to get comments..cheeky. i have no idea who these monkeys remind me off. i dont know anyone well enough to judge. i am just thankful no one said me smile

a good shot. its well cropped and i like the patterns and colours.
Mal: You are not cheeky enough to be a cheeky monkey, how about a "slightly cheeky monkey"? Thank you Genevieve. Mal
_the monkey that can't see is Sam (7.5, 8, 8.25, 8.50/...where are the numbers 10 and zero?? those are really interesting),
_the one that can't speak is Neil (for his lovely and long comments smile)
_and you're the one that can't listen (sometimes your shutterspeed is so slow that you can listen the first 'clik' when you push the button .. but you are not sure about to listen the second 'clak'..but..hey Mal, great results!.

This post is really nice and funny! Nicola
Mal: Thank you Nicola, your vote is registered. Mal

the monkey who don't hear is me - cause i don't give a rats ass. i IS what i IS. i dont hear anything but the earth - people make no sense.

The monkey who doesn't talk is either (newly) the annie stooooner ejit. or one of the wee females who run amuck saying "nice shot"

the monkey who don't listen is suby - and that's all i say about that.

i think i thought about this all day. nice one mal. ~S.
Mal: Thank you S, your votes are in the mix and I agree with the Annie one big time! Talk soon. Mal
You played a Smiths album to these guys just before you took this one, yes? smile
Mal: Two Smiths albums Dave! wink Mal
