Dafredo's Dungarees

A very good friend of mine Frederic www.fredericb.shutterchance.com has been telling me lately that the French invented style! Well, I accept that the French may have invented style but imagine my surprise when I bumped into him in Japan wearing these "Orange Dungarees" while he was sat on his own in an empty rail carriage! Clearly he is not French but perhaps that is why they deported him to New York! Hee hee

All the best Mal

awesome shot, love how the lines lead me to the colour contrast dungarees. Orange dungarees tsk tsk bad idea
Mal: The French have no style Ade! wink Mal
Ha! Monty beat me to it: guantanamo's the obvious touchstone here... failing that, the dude has apalling taste! Still, it's a nice contrast: well seen, my man!
Mal: Dead right Dave, No taste. Mal
this is great Mal! I love the perspective, the light, the frame, the colors, the subject..all in this pic.
Mal: Thank you Nicola. Mal

A frenchman in Japan who lives in New York... Proof that globalism effects us on an individual level. Lovely shot. The colors are vibrant without looking unrealistic or overdone.

Very intriguing! It is amazing how a pair of orange pants can transform a shot. smile
Mal: I think he is selling them Martin! I'll forward his address! wink Mal
YES the french are very stylish. as for french men, id steer clear.

love this shot. the orange pants really stand out. id straighten it just a tad tho smile
Mal: Eagle eyes, yes you are right, it's off a little! Damn! wink Mal

I was going to say I hope you have the shots of fredericb getting up and doing flashdance moves down the train but I am not sure if flashdance is his thing. I think 'mc hammer - can't touch this' is more like it since he spends so much time in NYC. Keeping it real dafredo.
So what you are saying is that this shot is total coincidence that it's frederic? Even more amazing
Mal: Hey Jide, No, I didn't meet him, it was a complete wind up because he won an arguement on self portrait day. Mal

In today's blog dafredo has a story of how he had is computer repaired in a bar over a few bottles of wine, now that is style.

He also confessed that due to consumption results he had some issues to focus on reality. Maybe that was when he changed attire, got on a flight and ended up sleeping it off in this coach. Notice his head doesn't stick out above the partition.

Excellent capture
At least he got deported to a decent city ! Nice shot bye the bye.
Could you rewrite that note when you are sober, so I can understand it!

Well captured shot.
Mal: Me waz zobber win I rit thus ontro cimmantes, yoo shid hove ban zober win u rid tham! wink Mal

Very original and refreshing. The French can learn something about YOUR style!
Mal: I always knew Belgium had more class than France. Thank you Isa. Mal
Hé hé smile
As french I can't say that Frederic is wrong, by the other hand you're not wrong too !
A great picture indeed

So much style that he ended up having the whole compartment to himself! tongue

A very nice shot, and what an amazingly clean train ... why can't 'they' do that here?
yeah those red pants really add something unique to this shot.

I love every single element in this photo, all the way from what can be seen outside the windows, to the sparkling, spotless cleanliness, the pattern repetition, the overhed advetisements, and yes yes, the "orange dungarees", especially them! smile
very strong composition..
love the ORANGE..!
very well balanced

Really well put together.
Against the backdrop I think the dungarees go quite well.
