Wonderfully clever image, with a sad title.

Reminded me of the movie "Shane", which has perhaps the most moving parthian scene of any movie.

I hope the tunnel has a two-way door, 'cos I still got lessons to learn.
Very nice shot. I am ducking just in case they are the Parthians smile

All the best to you too.

You shooting backwards now? Then you are seriously good.

Your comment makes the Parthian shot sounds like a parting shot. Hope you are not going anywhere else than looking for the next picture opportunity.

Great picture of passage in the tube passage - tops.

Not sure if you got my email...

LOL, you had me cracking up there Mal.

Thanks for information, I have tried this vaseline thingy before but I was pants at it, okay I tried it for like 5 minutes and gave up, I have the patience of a dog smile

Well maybe I will give it another go, now have to go find my filter wherever it is smile

lovely lovely lovely...
I really love these your motion blurs...I'm going to try one out for myself.
Very intereting blur... where abstract meets reality... when silhouettes meet shadows, look like a liquid, no ? Original shot Mal !

isn't it a bit out of focus?
Mal: yes, your right Helga, it is out of focus but somebody broke my lens! All the best. mal
Looks like a baad hang-over...wink

Seriously, I liked your "ghost in the machine" interpretation more. The fascinating thing there was the contrast between the seemingly solid ground/walls and the fluid/ghostly people. This one here is much more uniformly distorted.

I had to look up that word, Mal: Partian--"relating to, being, or having the effect of a shot fired while in real or feigned retreat." HA! So now I get it. No wonder everyone likes it! smile (You're so good!)
Thanks to Ginnie I know what your on about Mal wink I still find these a touch scary!

Parthians, I looked them up too, couldn't resist and had no idea anybody else had until I read the other comments. The Parthians they died out, good horsemen, shot arrows backwards when they were retreating as a 'parting shot' .. I hope this isn't any of those (arrows or parting shots) Mal and that we'll see you here always. smile

I like the sense of eeriness and slight foreboding in this picture, but I do prefer your seascapes smile

Not deliberately i hope....
Mal: no not deliberately. I gave it to them. but they dropped it! So the images are a little blurred now.
