this is really hot mal! beautiful warm colors..of course.
I am tempted to steal this picture and put my own name to it but although 'Thou shall not covet your neighbours photographic locations' is one of the 7 Deadly Sins that people tend to overlook, i shall therefore only look longingly at this picture with green eyes -just to be on the safe side.

Wonderful shot and nice to see you back. I know it would look better on a bigger template as some of the detail is lost in the smoke. smokin shot
WoAH!!!!
That is very dramatic!
Wow, Mal, talk about an "explosive" picture! Very well done!
WOW - great shot, what is this Mal, where was this. Was this actually as explosive as it looks? Can't wait to know what happened!

Good morning Malster. Well, of course I have seen this shot before, but now I am mad that you got it up before I could post one of the Port Talbot works grin grin It is a very nice shot, but for me, there is something I don't like about the exposure, I am not too sure what it is, it's almost as if this was one of those occasions where it was impossible to get the right shutter speed - slightly over exposed as it is, but if you had dropped by a sec maybe under exposed. Dunno mate, too early in the day to get my head around it!! Looks like I have to stay here an extra week, so may have to get up close and personal with the steel works here!! Have a great day mate. Many kind regards, Neil.
wow nice capture

You and I both know, Mal, this this is "great balls of fire" and not some measly tear drop. But you didn't hear me say that out loud! grin

I knew you'd come back before 40 days and nights!!!!
This looks like a scene from 24 or something like that. Awesome !!

Welcome back Mal.
That really is a spectacular shot, and also proves that you should never fart near a naked flame.

Having worked at a steel factory in my life i think i recognise a blow here. Like a big belch to clean up the system. In this picture it looks somewhat if they have blown it.

Excellent picture of the moment. Just love Sheeplover's first comment about watching where you aim your butt. Which reminds me of when we were young and a friend wanted to demonstrate how he can produce a blue flame over a smoldering metal dustbin ... apparently it hurts when you touch the metal. grin
Fantastic!
WOW! Was this an actual explosion?? If not very well done!
Wow, Mal this is awesome !! Una magnífica foto. El color increible. Bravo por estar alli!

Goodness gracious great balls of fire grin

Dynamic and intense. Those red smoke clouds are really expressive. You must have felt the heat from where you were standing.
I see Ginnie got in there before me. I've not caught the news in weeks, am I missing out on something explosive happening recently?

Colorful and extremly dynamic... And a great color-contrast with the cool blues on the right side. Certainly not a calm picture! Looks a bit like industry on steroids... Great shot, certainly invokes some strong feelings!
You are on fire, fantastic image, big impact!
... Wellcome back!
