Great capture of a wonderful sky...the clouds are leading my eye just in between the 2 mountains...
Terrific one again Mal.

I love the detail in the mountains behind and the touch of black between the clouds is very nice. maybe when i am old and grey i can get a trafalgar tour bus to Scotland.
Beautifully composed with a good foreground and sky to highlight the mountains.
Magnificent. This brings back wonderful memories of my travels in Scotland in the late 70s. Is this anywhere near a place called Rest and Be Thankful?

Excellent and it looks super in the new template. Here in SA is a little town by the name of Glencoe, but it doesn't look as wholesome as this place.
ir filter? has a touch of the infra red about it.

So calm and gentle, it's like listening to a lullaby.

Lovely shot mal. Hope you are good.
This is lovely! I like the simplicity of it and how the sky picks up the theme of the river.

Malcolm, this is great. It really makes me think of Ansel Adams. Wonderful work.
Is this frost or IR? Whatever, it is a great image.

That's quite a novel shot of Glen Coe, very effective with a long exposure.

A beautiful scene, Mal. Very nice. Forgive me if I don't comment on all the latest pics. There's no way I can catch up on everybodies :/
Those clouds really make a difference, really nice.
Very nice IR work Mal - love the placement of the breaks in the clouds. Tris
The long shutterspeed defenitely does something interesting with the sky and generell light in the pic - I like it

More long exposure goodness. Looks almost infra-red.
Fantastic. If you are not making a shed load of cash from photography by now something in the world is sadly amiss. All the best, Dave

Scotland is simply a beautiful place - it's really a photographers paradiese come true...

I like the B&W adaptation, gives the sunlighted spots on the hills a completely different atmosphere than usual. Reminds me a bit of the Ansel Adams work. Take it as a compliment...! smile
I know this place well from the time I spent in Glasgow. I used to climb a bit when I was younger, but I fell off fairly frequently and decided it probably wasn't my game. But I remember doing something called Curved Ridge in Glencoe and this brings it back to me.
I love Glen Coe- and this is a wonderful moment in it.
Lovely, excellent conversion

Mal, this is a stunner! It must be my imagination, but the clouds seem to form the image of a feline creature coming from the heavens and breathing out mist. I promise you, i'm not crazy...
