Nice work Mal - is it a 'collage'? I feel the composition is over simplified and so needs a second focal point - perhaps a tree or ocean liner towards the horizon lower right?

Judy...fed up with the aggressive behaviour of Punch, is planning to sneak up and beat him about the head with her flip-flops...
Serves him right!

Like an open air stage. There's such an uplifting feel about this one Mal. It gives out great vibes.
You know when I think about when you started this photo blog and I look at your work now all I can think is that you are a GENIUS! You've always known what you've wanted from a photo.

I wish I had your eye sometimes or more so your focus. I'm learning though.

Thanks for sharing Mal.

Mal "The Puppeteer" is something completely new to me. John Mal-Kovich "The Puppeteer" from "Being John Malkovich" comes to mind with his incredible puppet. Wonder if this is the new direction you're looking for. If so, I'll be patiently waiting for next posts.

I'll be picky though, because I think I'd have preferred to see her feet.

Hi Mal. I have visited this images a few times and each time I've decided that I am looking at something different! Walking on grass with a backdrop of clouds? Dancing in a fountain? whichever, it has impact and certainly gets you thinking.
I see how you have imagined the scene of this marionette!

Most interesting I find the background- it is raining, raining, raining, a little wind blows which lashes the clouds away, so that the sun will come again spreading out its supranatural light! I saw such wonderful wild skys in Ireland.
The "puppet" looks like a somnambuliste or a 'blind' (as metaphor considered too) trying to find the right way for him/her . I combine with the word 'puppet' stiffness, dependence, lifelessness- but the single elements of this photo are too different so that I cannot find out a connection between them. And I'm not sure, if the title is fitting. Only the hairs are disheveled. But a memory is coming back- I walked along the beach, covered by the wind, and while I stretched out my arms like this 'puppet' I felt like shoregrass or a tree in the wind!
