Gorgeously decayed relic of a mind-set that felt life would be better for travellers if their time in a boat was made shorter by building long jetties.

"Tranquility" is a concept that come to mind when gazing on this masterpiece, mal. Your clever camera has lulled the water and clouds...even the rust is taking its own sweet time....

More of a monster, a dragon that slides into the depth of breathless water.

The curved bridge builds a perfect disharmony to the smooooth, calm, structureless water: texture, curvature, harsh, sharp. I love the photo!

I wonder how the shot would have looked from a slightly lower (or higher) position. Right now, the water-horizon mixes with the upper end of the bridge. Hmm...

Great composition - I love the area of emptiness on the right. The sea looks like a mirror - it's quite unnerving. There's a feeling that something is just about to happen.

Superb composition. The wonderful unreality of the water which looks like liquid metal.

Such an end time atmosphere again- no boat, no human being, no bird, no sound... absolute stilte and loneliness , nobody will ever arrive.. - only we viewers are present for moments and at some distance, some minutes later we have left this desolated place too where living isn't possible- the unreality is fascinating indeed, cruel- beautiful! Photography as art creating a new level/kind of reality! What may be so attractive for you to create such pictures of loneliness and abandonment again and again? They make me so sad!

The serpent has a head like a locomotive. Oi, the sea would ever be so smooth over here, where we only have gut emptying swells.

Excellent picture of this extremely tame serpent.
