Ursula LeGuin might well have written a fantasy set in this place.

It does not seem to be sheeplover friendly...

Bloody hell! I thought the last one was good. This is mighty impressive stuff Mal. Top Notch!
A fine fine image Mal... wonderful tones ... and thanks for the email explaining your personal situation. I understand exactly having gone through a similar time myself in the last year.

Elgol, isle of Skye, Scotland- a very rough, almost hostile "Ur"-landscape where human civilization might not find a cosy home- so my feeling, a feeling of loneliness, a feeling like in Ossian myths- where sky and water, mountains and rocks are gathered to an own grey world and we are just amazing outsiders!
(Thank you very much for your personal words! This must be your landscape where you may feel to be a part of - whereas I might become depressed, and I remember my Scotland journey some years ago- fascinating, overwhelming, but also making a bit melancholic and down-hearted, I believe I could not live there for longer time, but, sorry, I'm no Scot!)

Hello Mal,

This capture is really fantastic ! I love this B&W render ! great job ! ;o)
This, I'm guessing, is somewhere in Middle Earth.
Ansel, Weston and the rest would be proud of this one.
