A snap from dream sequence...Sammy sperm is unsure if he has done the training required for this big race...

No-one told him Life is basically a stumbling journey to Death, so he is in serious danger of having a short, uneventful, unremarkable trip...

King Canute comes to mind! Doesn't look like particularly good surfing conditions, so perhaps he should go. Great image.

it's all about psychology once again, isn't it? That's why I like most of your photographs. They go beyond simple aesthetics smile

Stay, I can see you don't want to go anymore.

Old man Ray has a whale of a tale. Old Sammy is known as Supersperm over here.

stunning image. for me, not too comfortable in a water element, i would be thinking long and hard about walking towards all that which is coming towards me. he i think is contemplating the exact right time to make his move into it. i wonder how long he took smile

He will definitely go, just waiting for the right moment.
well, if you go there will be trouble, but if you stay it will be double, so I'd go...
Brilliant. Is this a 'wot, not waves?' moment, do you suppose? Great composition too. Is this Saltburn, by any chance?

I remember this man (last october) and I thought he had decided to go - then he seems to be very alone- now I see he is still alone- but I don't believe that he feels alone for he is surrounded and touched by sea, wind, air... - I still like this pic, esp. the (changing) graphics that wind and sea are drawing along the beach! Where did you stand as you took this photo- did you transformed to a seagull in order to have this fascinating perspective?

I do love this image Mal. There's much to like about a well composed well spaced out image. Add a beach and it's a winner.
I recon anniedog is right, and he's thinking "Jeez did I really get up at 3am and drive 4 hours to find it this flat? I should have looked on the interweb first..."
Hope you're well Mal
Excellent!
