Reason enough, Mal. Hope everything turns out well.

She has my blessing, My Friend...
I guess that's all we can do at the moment, Mal, just to wait and to look from both ways on it.
A hug,
z

A study in emotions and expressions would also be a good reason.

There's something quite poignant about this image - the worried looking woman waiting for her chance to cross the road. Hope your Mum gets out of hospital soon.

Yes, I can understand well your "reason for this image selection"- own experiences may open our mind and soul to read better other facial expressions- and I think this woman might be burdened with some 'things'. And waiting may be the half of our life!- The best wishes for your 'Mum'!

The Lady looks a bit bewildered, and perhaps frightened.

The older I get, the more I smile...I hope to never convey the impression I am lost, even when the candle has begun to sputter!

This is a painful image, Mal.

I sure hope your Mum is better by now.
