Sometimes, the road less traveled is the one with the most unexpected surprises. Looks like he is headed towards quite a sunburst of light. smile

Head down...excruciating aloneness...he could do that in a crowded pub...
Great shot.
Wonderful tones reflections and all that sort of stuff... wonderful enigma but also an expression of how we are becoming more on our own in some ways
Less traveled roads make all teh difference.
Time to put on your hiking shoes, Mal, but remember, some of them are one-way streets.
I love the title and the whole picture! Beautiful!
What a great image, full of atmosphere. You always seem to create something special - such a gift. (:o)

I'd choose the road less travelled as well. It will surely be a greater challenge than to walk the most travelled one. We might stumble now and then and become lost awhile. But with each stride we'll have the chance to grow and to tread our own path. And I'm sure, this will feel pretty good in the end.
superb capture! bw suits perfectly here!
