Wish I could take this same old rubbish. Fantasic shot with the solitary figure. Love the detail on the pipes etc.
Totally agreeing with Aussie here.
and how did you sit still for almost 2 minutes Malster?? I see that you have a new toy, did you eventually wear out the 5d? Another cracking shot mate, great stuff. Many regards, Neil.
I'd love to be able to shoot 'rubbish' like this, Mal. It's a wonderful image.
Nope. Your time is up, mal. You got to resume your posts, we missed you here.
Didn't you feel young and handsome again, looking at those pipes for almost two minutes?
Keep them coming: this is a fine, lyrical image, Mal.
beautiful composition - absolutely fantastic
SC image 200! I hope you find time for more.
Ditch that bozo in the hooded parka...get onto Sub&Sin, who could probably line up a long-legged beauty in a skimpy outfit and with wild body-art...then you are cooking, mal...
[...or, not...it's about perfect as it is, especially with the moving parts rendered silky smooth by your lazy shutter; and the sewer pipes made strangely gorgeous by sucking away the colour.]
Take all the time you need, Mal. Your rubbish is my gold mine. Beautifully done.
excellent
Well looks like good rubbish, how's the new toy treating you?
Not rubbish, Mal. Any way you look at it. This is wonderful.
I'm lovin' this image. km
Te mood is pretty cool. I've been exactly there lots of times
Take all the time you need Mal, if that is what it takes to get stunning pictures like this one! Great work!
Petra
Happy 200, you did a good job sitting still, but than.....if one is wondering what to do next....time is not an issue, don't let others rush you, they don't understand.
I do love these kind of pictures, the rusty pipelines are a joy for the eye, now I will say to you: "All the best Mal", you know where to put the emphases.
Hello again, I like the contrast of busy lower to simpler upper.
Has it been eight weeks already...time goes so quickly! I can wait...sometimes inspiration takes time, mal. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic shot.
Fantastic shot Mal - you did well not to go all blurry like the sea and sky! I love the contrast between the rough rusty texture of the pipes and the glassy smoothness of the sea.
Ingrid
Rubbish!!! Don't you dare!!!
Welcome back
Rubbish? Well I'd love for my rubbish to look like this!
Ps congratulations on your 200 th !! More then enough for an exhibition..
Petra
Congrats on your 200th Mal. This shot is superb. I am amzed to see that you managed to sit still during almost two minutes!
All of the above, outstanding rubbish!!
If you keep taking this rubbish Mal, we'll have to keep on liking it
it'll do for the time being
Who is this shy introverted hooded enigmatic male ... who makes this a great image ... with delightful processing.
Small steps Mal ... but according to my compass you need to go North West. richard
200 AND an exhibition! Sounds like a winner, Mal. Just do it!
What old rubbish thingie are you talking about Mister Mal? Are you crazy?
You've found your style and it's good to see it works perfectly. (btw, i'm eager to see your holga's shots too) Take good care my friend!
This awesome Mal. The way the horizon blends in is spectacular. nice tones too.
hmmmm not sure that new camera is up too it m8
How did you sit perfectly still for 109 seconds? Wish I could take rubbish like this
If rubbish was this good I'd keep it around. You've really captured his isolation and his want to be else where
A well composed pic- hard, hard work must be done and I never knew where I should begin- but I always notice that you have such a friend-ly SC-fan-team around you which is supporting and encouraging you mentally ... Sky and sea look a little strange like a coverlet, but I have to agree they evoce a fascinating atmosphere of 'last day' and loneliness or lull before the storm-- yes, now I know what I would like to see: Stand up and shake up the clouds and stir up the waves and paint them with colours like... Sorry, only one possible vision...
The contrast between the richly textured pipes and the featureless sea is very powerful.
Looks like you took 109 seconds worth of time. Pretty quick. I like your choice of grungy location and I don't mind the same old rubbish at all. Also congrats on 200 posts.
This is the type of rubbish I like lol!
Lovely,well composed and executed!
Gorgeous textures, great balanced composition and intrigue- love it!
I echo the rest - if only I could take rubbish like this! Nice shot. I have to start experimenting with long exposures to emulate the look your shots so often have.
fantastic shot, the water is...crazy!!!and you are staying there thinking to the next shot!!!
A Mal classic. Well executed bro
and congratulations on your 200th post!!
The only way to sit that still is the morning after - hope it wasn't too painful.
So you are in the process of smoothing things out. Well you have smoothed the sea and the sky - only the pipes and concrete left to smooth out and then there is only yourself to work on. Good luck with the journey. Excellent picture of pondering.
Just keep the old rubbish coming...!
Congrats to 200 posts also from the slightly northern part of Europe! |
