Lovely! Especially the water came out great. It provides a bit of softness in this harsh landscape.

I cannot take my eyes off the bottom 50% of this spectacular image.

I want to try to create beautiful imagery like this. My toy runs out of legs at F8 and 15sec...I suppose I am going to have to start by finding a new camera. On second thoughts, perhaps it is better this way, and then I have an excuse for not being able to create an image as breathtaking as this.

gush, gush gush.....

Who is Ansel Adams, I know of one mal and his most excellent pictures.

Eerie, lonesome, soft and I want to be there with a glass of red wine and a comfortable stone to sit on.
Can`t think of anything original to say... this is just gob-smackingly good. (:o)

This really makes me feel as though you've stopped time, that we're in a pause and only when I click to move on will the clock start ticking again.

Great shot! The IR filter and the really long exposure give this almost a rendered look! It's really cool.

Mal, I'm letting people know who used to frequent my blog that I'm back (although in a limited fashion). Drop by if you feel up to it smile

Bonjour,
Well done exposure..Strange atmosphere..bravo!
Very nice, Mal. I would like to know to that hour of the day you took this photo, Mal? I have read some thing to be able to obtain that the water seems a mantle, but it does not fit the speed to me that indicates your data!
Great picture. Not sure what you've done with it, but it looks freezing up there!
I love the silvery effect the water and wet rocks have, excellent Likey pic.

This is a very different image "standpoint" you have taken here with the classic shot Mal and it works.
The ultralong exposure has really got them clouds moving up there, coupled with the misty water its all together.
