love this, i tried it once in tube station, didn't work out too great
Oh yeah! Back to business from smokey trips of times gone by. Welcome back, we missed you.
AWESOME!
I see the ghosts are on the loose again. Adding some grain is a good idea. It enhances the atmosphere.
Wow! 2 segundos la cámara en el suelo en los pasillos del metro! Gran trabajo, Mal!
Wow! 2 seconds the camera in the ground in the corridors of the subway! Great work, Mal!
And here I was getting ready to ask where you were!
Back to your old tricks, I see, Mal.
... crossing tunnels and our own lives. As shadows 'cause we never chance to meet each other...
I'm on night shift, I'm sleep deprived, I'm a nurse. This is all offered as reasoning for my reaction. It reminds me of the hospital morgues, and the souls leaving to go???? It's the big silver door that does it. But thats not a bad thing, I like it.
Good to see you're doing well, taking loadsa pics... Having had a heectic 4-5months, I had to temporarily pack up shooting. I'm back now and raring to go!
When you are the only thing that is real in your [solypsistic] world, the detail of your imagined others becomes as wisps of smoke if the batteries are not fully charged.
Sometimes ephemera is enough... Lovely image, mal.
Oh it's strange Mal : This picture reminds me we just are passing through here on the earth... Great shot for me !
Beautiful work Mal! Very well done.
Masterful camera angle, were you trying for some "up skirts" stuff? A iconic Mal shot. I love every thing about it, a Likey for me.
Very strange effect ! Beautiful, artistic and creative : Bravo !!
Ghost are here again. Well done!
A deeply metropolitan and totally Mal-esque image! Great mood and intensity, as usual!
Greta stuff Mal ..
The master of the low light shots. Trust you had an armed guard with you! 2secs crouched on the floor with a camera is a long time in a subway!
You have made a picture of one of those inner thoughts that can keep me busy. The life of me and the life of others (passing by in a ghostly line). If I were not there, would they be there. If i didn't exist, would they. And the adverse ...
A thing never observed, can it exist? I guess it is that inner thing that is slowly turning me in this direction - what i can do with a picture. By way of closing off - I hope you had your overalls on
I especially loved the angle you chose for this picture Mal: the compo is original. Great work again.
Dropped your camara again?? ;-)
Makes a very beautiful picture, by the way. Well done.
I think these creations of yours reflect that you could be a seriously 'haunted' man buddy... Get some counselling before you lose your camera Mal.
Na, another brilliant shot! Rab
EXTRAORDINAIRE ! :-D
Love this, Mal. It's like looking at ghosts. Great.
Haunting. Lost souls trapped in some underground lair...
This one was worth the wait, Mal!
Bonjour,
Well done effect..and "grain"..Bravo!
Booo very scary. Nice
Very ghostly I love it Mel
Great shot - I presume you were actually on your knees! Did you use a tripod? This is a very atmospheric, haunting shot.
Ingrid
Welcome back Mal. You are the master of these type of shots.
Another great capture Mal.
Haunting and beautiful.
Ah, back in our Orwellian mode again I see
Nicely done as usual Mal. Love the gritty toning as well.
Love the effect of the slow shutter speed. The ghostly people, the lights along the side, and the grainy, black and white finishing of the photo all work really well together.
Very interesting shot, mal, like it - must have been a slow shutter speed.
A masterpiece
You always amaze me with your images, Mal. Wonderful. There are plenty of ghosts or people with nondescript faces, that I see at the airport or any other crowded building. They are all strangers, and so I tend to look through them. Especially if I have something on my mind. Your photo really hit home...said it well.
Top dollar! This I could put on my wall, I rarely put even my own stuff on my walls lol.
Mal-esque lol, you are without question a man of individual style that never disappoints when you do shots like this.
I've been so driven up the wall with page download times lately that I've taken a break from shutter for a few days - not any better now but I was getting withdrawal symptoms!
Belter!
Soooo good! Really one of the best shot I've seen today!
Absolutely wonderful, and so engaging....
I came, I saw, I awe....
Ohhhhh yes, I like. Love the grainy look, the perspective the mystery. To me this is art.
I'll put it in my Likeys
were you drunk?
straight to my likeys this one
did u see the movie?...wasnt it outstanding?...
youre approaching new levels of profundity with shots like these...
This is good on many levels.
Good title (and a great movie). love the 'gosty' effect. great work.
Ghosts of movement - I like this very much
Not surprised at the amount of comments. Just awesome.
One of your most impressive, has a number of things working well together.
Fantastic work. Difficult shot, well captured.
Wow, great shot! Is the title a reference to the film?
the lives of others are very engaging as is this beauty.
malnificent again
much beautiful one, transmits emotions, bravo !!
Love these last 3 images. You are mastering this technique. Will have to borrow a feather from your cap and try it myself sometime! Thanks for sharing!
Moody dead moody, loving the grainyness, was you led on the floor?
