Ha! I'm first. Great shot Mal, love the lighting, compo, low angle and the swoosh of the ceiling lights. I'm surprised it's at 70mm though - it looks wider. Steve
Another great perspective shot! I love the lines and movement you've captured here.
mal's dial-a-mood...
Full-frame, and we soar with the globe-circling Albatross; warmed by the sun; soothed by the gentle whoosh of rarified air gathering speed as it is directed over the the wing. Crop 60% from the top, and we have become part of the gigantic hive of mankind; even at times when most of the swarm sleeps, the hive's technology blasts through the quiet with the deafening WHOOSH!!; we feel a little anxious, even as we sleep.
I'm glad you put it up Mal, so many lines to drag you into the pic and a lot of repeated yellow.
Funny that the blurry couple are whispering 'what's that retard doing on the floor with his camera and a bottle of whisky?'
another great shot here Mal, hope they didn't call u names LOL
Lovely perspective !!
lol Nigel's comment! Mal, your shots like this are a treat! You've a knack for those great lights and lines and somehow pulling me along into those lights and lines.
Glad you posted this Mal. Buttons seriously pushed
spot on mal,great shot.
nicely done
Fantastic, love the little curve at the end
Lol, ditto Nigel exactly!
The people make it for me. Without them it would have been technically and artistically ace but without a soul.
Hi Mal - great height on this one - with these images you are spoiling us!
Have a great weekend. Bernie
Go tell the couple you have blurred them for their unkind remarks
Interesting life's approach - if you miss the train, take a picture of it Excellent blur and lines. The sort of yellow looks like golden sepia (new photographic invention).
Like a snake of light, really well done. I love the movement... Colours and light are just perfect Malcolm.
I really need to get into the habit of getting friendly with the floor if that yields such compelling perspectives! This is another lovely composition, but I think the 2s exposure may be a little long. The train almost looks stationary because it is just a long streak. A shorter exposure that hangs on to some of the verticals may convey more of a sense of motion. Or maybe I am just full of it as usual
You have been right to change your mind, Mal! Beautiful perspective and I like the toning a lot, great work as usual!
OK, be that way...suck us up into your picture once again. I have no will or desire to resist.
top form from mal...
...as usual!
Why would you not post this? It is absolutely amazing! Stunning, in fact. (:o)
Amazing perspective on this and you get a real sense of movement. I have a mental image of you lying spreadeagled on the floor to take this shot! Did you use a tripod or was the camera resting on the ground?
Ingrid
Great image, Mal. The inclusion of the couple definitely makes the shot for me.
Wonderful perspective and sense of movement. Great - what more can I say!! David.
Bullet train Mal? This station looks to clean to be here!
Wow, this is a very great image. The light and the movement is excellent.
Very, very cool.
People make pictures, whako shot, love the view point.
wow what a difference from the b&w. still very good. love the motion blur.
Train platforms are full of metaphors - usually associated with waiting for a train - for me this shot inverts the thinking. I am with the people on the train wanting to get off - panicking that it hasn't stopped. ;o)
Great shot. What a nice perspective!
Nice. Very nice shot Quite powerful.
its pretty damn awesome, glad you posted...
Nice one Mal, cool lines and colour. And two more people calling you a retard for crawling around on a train station floor! Cheers, H.
I do not know that you had thought to fix today, but I am glad much that the conversation with Nigel has to change to you of opinion! A magnificent election. I like! and Likey!
This is great. I dare you to do it at rush hour.
Great colour and composition. Glad you posted it.
Amazing shot Mal and ... thanks to Nig
I like this picture very much!!
Energy in motion.
Love the low viewpoint. Top stuff.
Amazing just amazing...
I am in two minds whether the people enhance or detract the image as a whole. The colouring and hues on this are just so unique as well.
Can't think why you wouldn't post it, I really like it. There's a lovely abstract in here if you clip off the left side just to the blue/green light...just an observation.
