Terrific, Mal. Love this.
Hi Mal,

You are quite the Post-Modernist at this photography gig eh? Another very interesting idea at play here; do you ever get bored of being too good at art?

The blurs and distortion adds greatly to the "other worldly" effect you have created, a new heavenly utopia of sorts is in demand to replace the trivial stuff politicians have given us.

Let us enter the unknown, our unconscious Freudian states of mind; I like your style, very surreal and thoughtful as we all hope for a better tomorrow, in some ways; "knocking on ehavens door", who will answer? We will never know, until you go for it eh? You got to let go, and look for it on your own....

You are the master of emotions, reminds me a little of David Lynch's style (the man who created the cult TV show - "Twin Peaks"; this too will recieve a great cult following as well, no doubt).

Top effort, I could analyse this further in more detail but I have enough work on my plate eh? wink

Keep up the good work mate!

Regards,
Raymond

Maybe ehaven is close to email, or e-card or e-somewhere else?

Who knows, but you know we have e-passports now, so we could go to e-haven if we e-wish to e-eh?

e-good stuff e-mate!

e-Raymond smile

Great effect Mal, love to know how you achieved it.
This is a really strong image !!
He he, geeky and arty... but you are! No good producing empty images, anyone can do that, far better when they mean something. So many technical bods above wanting to know how to do it and missing the why.

A very sensitive image with a tangible sense of distance and of an invisible barrier in between.
Lovely work Mal.
I hope this lady is not "going toward the light" and that your previous work was not an an undertaker! LOL

Like most of your images Mal the photos are breathtaking but the real sting is in the title. When i see shots like this i think of raw blues music with a simplicity and yet a complexity that can only be fully understood by the creator. We all have our own experiences in life that give us our own version of what the photo represents and that touches us in different ways but the true emotion is with the photographer and their subject. its not the first image of yours thats made me want to hang up the camera. On the eight fold path to photographic enlightenment i always feel that i am at stage one or two. Thats it i think, i am going to get a dog.
Excellent work, Mal. This shot tells the story of a woman about to begin journey to the other side and does so really well. I haven't seen anything like this on Shutterchance. very well done!
Awesome! I like this, Mal!

its a haunting image Mal - I like it a lot
You've got me coming back! This has to be taken on a beach. I'm going to look pretty foolish if it isn't! It's the light, even though you've played around with it, it must be either close to water or sand or both. Your image transcends Mal.
Mal, you're back....phew, u neva seize to amaze me dude. like this
