yeah you better be sorry to bore us all to death with another stunning picture!! Great compostion....and Simon will just love all the lines...
Petra
Very impressive composition, this one is going right to my likeys !!
Excellent shot. You had the perfect sky to go with the shot.
don't apologize mal. i could look at shots you've taken from here all day long. another brilliant one. love how the end of the bridge matches the height of the horizon to make it one continuous line. well done!
Says the fortuneteller..."I see a long straight road ahead, with neither fork nor curve. All the way there will be turbulence."
I hope he/she can't read the signs...we all deserve a path with bends, branches and ups'n'downs, and a little clear sky now and again. I love piers, and you have presented this one beautifully, mal.
All hail the king of shutterchance. Mal, I love the depth of this photograph. Great capture. Can you share the PP techniques.
Sheer art, Mal. This is artwork not to be ignore. Lovely.
Looks alien alright. Great photography!
It's beautifully crisp and the lighting is perfect.
Sorry, my eye! HA! Petra nailed it on the head.
A rickety runway for the alien ships. Even little benches for in case of flight delays. I hope they don't use thrust boosters during the landing, they will be liable to make big holes in this runway.
Great picture mal, it looks like the walkway to the horison. An endless concept like the Neverending Story.
Awesome shot... looks surreal, like a night-time shot with a really bright moon!
Brilliant - no apologies needed. Desperately keen to have a go at this myself, just too many commitments. Mike
Fantastic shot, Mal
great perspective.
Yowsa! Absorbing image with excellent depth and lines. A likey.
Do you think if I walk to the end, I might fall off the edge of the world?
...and I love the contrast between the softness of the cloud and the geometry of the pier. J
See you're slowly getting the hang of this photography stuff......ha! But why the red shmoody???????
brilliant, Mal, a boardwalk to the clouds
Nice moody image. I like the brooding sky. I'm coming to the conclusion that you are probably a miserable sod!
ud expect us to be sick of this place but i suppose u should take it as a compliment that we're not...nice one...
Another cracking shot of somewhere I know too well. What time of day did you take this to be free from people? David.
Lovely. And no need to apologize at all, Mal.
Lol, "Mal de mer". Great title!
too nice, I like this
These must be shots for the saltburn tourist commission showing the range of activities that are available for people. Maybe you were carrying a maletov like Robob said to keep the crowds back or the locals are very fast walkers. Another beautful shot. Post a dud for gods sake.
Nice symmetrical composition and perfect processing! I particularly like the sky. Great work, Mal!
Absolutely superb shot ... wish I had taken this one!!!
(it looks really strange and cool if flipping it upside-down...)
Admirable, to look during hours. Kind regards.
Love the way the light looks like it is coming from above yet it is clearly coming from the left. The depth is lovely too.
beautiful and breathtaking! i love the lighting and shadows. the fact that everything, including the water, is at a stand still except the clouds, the dock is so clear for so far. just lovely mal!
Mal this is positively outstanding. Way to go with that IR filter. You're making me want to buy one! How are you finding the noise situation with that length of exposure and with that filter? Are the originals really high quality or do you have to do a lot of post work?
wow, beautiful tones. so nice!
It just goes on forever; I keep trying to look further down the walkway (I just know there's a pub down there somwhere!)
This image is lovely; the lines and tones are wonderful. -marybeth
hi Mal, when I see your pic I think that you're so able to use the long exposure. IR72 filter is perfect for this kind of work, perfect for you
I love the light in this, quite a neat effect on a long exposure with those shadows of the railings. Don't apologise about photos of Saltburn, Mal - keep 'em coming!
Great atmosphere. cool perspective.
Oh No! Saltburn again? Hope you don't have them anymore
Mal this is incredible, each one is a winner and a stunner and pfff, this is soooo good, go make a bad picture at Saltburn please!! This is definitely a likey Mal, as is so much of your work. Did you use a real IR filter on the lens or is it a digital IR filter?
This is a beautiful B&W image, with such a great grayscale and so perfectly composed. Excellent!
Beautyful comosition ! I like this perspective... and rendered... nice shot Mal!
Thank you for your comment for my welcome on Shutterchance. I have just traversed your portefolio and I am filled with wonder at such an amount of beauty. My congratulations. Afflicted for my English
Excuse me for my adress blog.
Itīs hard to find words for a non English speaker. Tremendous, admirable, unique...
If someday you decide to publish a book with your pictures, please reserve me one. Kind regards
Excellent image Mal, I particularly like the shadows running up the decking. You've a great style going with these IR pics. Do you use a grad alongside the IR72 to hold back the sky? Tris
Stunning! With all the perfectly straight lines it almost looks like an example from a drawing book on single point perspective.
Very sweet !
I can watch this for a long time and just think about
Ah, a familiar location! Nice shot. It's interesting to see it with the strong sidelight like this. It's always been overcast when I've been there.
Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! Explain the shuttterspeed??? How???
don't apoligise for awesome photography!
Wow, this is an amazing shot.
Excelente
Let me add my 'wonderful' to the long list.
Nice one, Mal. I like the lines, movement and tones here.
