Like the rays from the sun and my eyes keep being drawn back to the figure.
It is curious that the tree of life is leaning away from the sun. Is it perhaps giving the person room to go explore on his own? Very nice work. I like the plurality of possible explanations.
I love this image, Mal. As you must know by now, trees are my favorites. And they do give life. Great composition here, Mal.
Photography is helping me to see and appreciate more stuff, mal, and maybe even improving my understanding of that stuff...but I can't say it has done anything to stock my rather bare faith cupboard...[grin]
Cool shot, mal, well composed!
to listen, to see and to believe in people....
Very very beautiful photo & words... Petra
All the right ingredients Mal. richard
Very nice lightscene. Beautiful silhouettes.
A very symbolic image - I do like a picture which you can interpret with a deeper meaning. The sun shining through is glorious.

Strong symbolism. There were two trees, maybe it is a good thing that the tree of life was not on the menu. Scary to think if it was. Life in a different form came about much later on a man-made tree.
Do you see the light? Could be a sub-title.
Very nice symbolic picture. Who sees the light here?
I want a tree of life following me around.
This image kind of has me thinking of... then came man and now there is only one tree left, the earth is bare and the sun beats down...
Love the composition.
Time to be alone and refelct on life.
Love this image Mal, well done.
Very emotive Mal - nice shot young sir.
I was always told not to look into the sun as a child - perhaps people were afraid of what I might see!
Good composition ;o)
Tree of life, very nicely composed shot and like the narrative. Great job with both.
Well this is just amazing. Such a compelling image. I love the simplicity of the three elements. (:o)
The sunbeams are magnifisent, love the symbolic in this picture, the sihouettes are stunning, I just love this picture.
lovely silo...
Another cracker, Mal. Love the simplicity & comp.
Also love the sunbeams, sunbeam
What about those who don't listen, don't want to see, and don't believe in anything, mal? Are they destined to die?
Good philosphical photograph, maestro. Z
A demonstration that it is not necessary to overcomplicate. Good simple is always the best.
In reading Viktor's question, I wonder if being destined to live is harder than being destined to die!
bill has just taken the words right out of me mouth
Looks like Tai Chi class for one Mal? Fine work
You must have had to run awfully fast to get yourself to the top of the hill before the shutter clicked
You know this is good, but in case you've forgotten I'll remind you
Just excellent simplicity
Great silhouette...don't know why but I get the feeling of looking at a telly, and that is very, very strange
