The forum in Tokyo
The usual thing with most public buildings throughout the world, they do not allow you to use a tripod! So I used the floor instead and I liked the patterns that the steel flooring provided. The lighting in this building is fantastic, hopefully more images to come from this place.
All the best. mal

i agree, i love the pattern effect too. the tones and reflections all work well. great mood to this shot. like a cool exit scene from a rock concert
A tripod would be nice... but since I don't have the monies to get one, I'll say welcome to my world Mal
Ellie did something like this not too long ago and we all were amazed about putting the camera on the floor/ground. That's a great idea. I love the patterns of those knobby things on the floor. Very cool, Mal.
Very cool, Mal. Love the result.
Very nice Mal. This rivit pattern is nice because it looks like it branches out in two different directions. The longer exposure is also a nice touch. Nice experimentation!
Hey buddy, you have returned with a cool collection.
I like the faded figures at distance, it adds to the pattern of the floor.
Just goes to show how fast life is - they don't stay still for even 2 seconds
Nice shot Mal, good idea & a perfect execution.
the title is very strong no?
have a very good week end my friend
Fantastic shot Mal. On the tripod subject, I just got one of these http://www.joby.com/gp3.html to use on holiday in Barcelone, primarily because I have no pictures of me and the missus. You can sit this thing on a table and noone would notice. Very quick and light and compact. And no, I have no connection with this comapny
Looks spooky, nice work Mal.
Excellent shot - and yes the floor makes it interesting. Had a nice crawl - were you coming from the pub?
Love the angle.
Nice perspective... like 3 ghosts in a tunnel...
Really nice photo of the Forum in Ginza. You have captured a very suggestive spooky feeling in this one. We are so happy you've joined us at onexposure, your pictures are awesome!
no tripod? no problem!! mal is here!
fantastic.
Finding citrons and making lemonade, huh? Great shot! Perfect composition that builds on the contrast between the static floor and the moving people. And the lines in the floor pattern really guide my eyes into the picture. The lighning provides a fitting "city atmosphere". Thanks for sharing...
You've also not used your signature ISO of 50- the lack of a tripod must have really been bothering you. =P
Excellent shot
Great capture![remarkable impress the lines on floor]
My regards
Really nice Mal, I like the way the lumps on the floor line up and vanish off into different directions, and also how the people are almost ghostly.
Very clever shot Mal, brilliantly executed.
Looks even better after a slug of Laphroig.
Nice effect with the pointed floor. Nice lighting too
Great shot. I think the use of the floor for your tripod really helped make this picture interesting. The lines created on the floor are really nice and I'm sure not too many people would see it like this. Nice to see that you are back!
I like the point of view and the texture of the foreground. Nice captured!
v cool angling malwalker...
Great angle, it turns out. real nice.
Cant remember what album/movie cover this reminds me of. perfect mixture of light, lines and blur. love it.
Mal: thank you Neal. all the best. mal
Awesome shot, mal. The texture/pattern of the floor really creates an interesting foreground and the blurred people in the distance adds some extra interest in the background. Nice work
This is really a great shot, love the colour
This nightmare is a dream
GREAT PERSPECTIVE
Very cool, excellent pof.
