Aah, the IR filter being put to ace use Malster. Excellent mate. Many regards, Neil.
I don't know how you did that but it's a fabulous, exciting image.
very exciting sky, interesting effect. assuming it's a long exposure...but lucky that there's not enough wind to move the blades of grass. great shot, mal!
It's like being in another dimension. Hints at the sinister. Great use of time and place. Love the tombstones.
Great angles and perspective, Mal. Very nice all around. This one is a winner (as usual)!
... (no words!)
Spectacular!
Wow! It's like a scene from a slightly spooky alternate universe.
Love it. I've added it to my likeys.
Excellent, Mal.
Stormy clouds? Storming over the horison. Courageous shot as you were laying amongst the gravestones
Great one mal.
Very nice, the sky is awesome.
Great cloud movement and detail in the buildings. Bravo!
Great detailed shot and treatment Mal! Amazing sky.
The smallest church in England! Wow. I think that's saying something, Mal. Where is it, out of curiosity (you know that Ginnie!)?
I was just mentioning to someone else that the church is having to learn not to put new wine into old wineskins. Your pic here feels like the church is going through a transformation. I hope so.
this is quite apocalyptic mal...
wow, amazing !!!
Probably the most IR looking shot you have posted but there is a wonderful mood to the shot. The clouds at 155 seconds look fantastic. vey nice
Dearest Mal, your peace and tranquility is about to be shattered with the re-emergence of BeakerSt from the technological wilderness...I have broadband and will plan to integrate myself back into the www society...now on with the show...
Well, in terms of tone and balance I can't fault it, it's lovely, keeping the detail in the side wall of the church shows it's carefully done. Composition-wise I feel it's not quite right. I think it's because the natural line my eye wants to take is blocked by the gravestones. I am led to the light side of the building but as there is no gap between the gravestones and then looking to the right side of the church there is less interest. The gravestone in the foreground seems a little clipped, rather than purposely cropped. I think this may have looked better either completely visible or cropped a bit more. In essence I think it may have been perfect taken from a little to the right, looking between the gravestones towards the lit, interesting side of the church. All in my humble opinion of course... Ahhhh it's good to be back!
very aweseome picture, I love the sky!!!!! Best one I have seen for a long time.
teriffic surreal image, Mal
que beau dynamisme dans cette photo
Really manific all your photographs. cheer

Great ambiance for this shot ! excellent treatment and lighting ! I like...
Spectacular shot, Mal! I like the framing and the sky a lot!
Wow! Super sharp and that effectful skay is fantastic!
Wow--look at that sky. It's been said before, but I'll say it again--eerie, mysterious and just stunning.
Well done!
u already know its gorgeous...the effect is stunning...one tiny tiny niggle though - that left tombstones being cropped is slightly annoying...
Fantastic Mal... How artistic, nice, and what a strange atmosphere emanate from this picture. I like !!!!
Very good Malcom, very, very good. I return your message : your sense of composition is really amazing and you've got a real style : yours !
Great contrast between the very static and calm cementry/church and the sky... And a nice definition of fore- and background. It's really a keeper!
Wow es genial !!. Incluso pienso que no hacía falta ningún tratamiento en el cielo, porque ya la propia perspectiva y el tema es suficientemente dramático. Me gusta !
Wow is brilliant. I even think that any treatment in the sky did not make lack, because the own perspective and the subject are already sufficiently dramatic. I like!
very cool post processing with the sky mal. this feels like a scene from the twilight zone. very nice lighting and detail on the stones. i really like this a lot.
Lovely atmostpheric shot - really like it. How'd you get the sky effect?
Cool Capture

Wow!!!!!! This is a stunning shot
wow. this screams gothic romance drama! wonderful!
Wonderful light and composition. I love the sky.
How on earth did you create this effect? Great photograph.
That is cool - long shutterspeed is fun
Is it shadows from the sun or the moon?
Nice moody shot Mal. You've got your work cut out replying to all these comments. The break from SC obviously worked.
I think the effect on the sky clouds was too exaggerated, otherwise this would be a Great photo ! Cheers
Beautiful photo! Looks like one from those old horror movies. I love the sky though. It gives the photo that "BAM!"
beautiful. ominous, but beautiful.
Looks like its all been said Mal...cracking shot.
Fantastic, dramatic shot. All the best, Dave
I've been away and missed this when first posted. The other comments say it all. Sorry we didn't get to meet at Jose's show

Very nice "long exposure shot". lovely work.
brilliant sho. Fantastic atmosphere.
Take care.
Excellent image Mal - really like the treatment. I missed this and was given the link when I posted a shot of the same place yesterday, although my version is a little tame compared to this. I don't live very far from Upleatham so I know this church well. David.
I have to admit defeat when it came to reading the previous comments. All I have to say is that I like the atmosphere.
Lovely b&w shot! I always thought the smallest chuch was at wasdale Head but a quick check and I was wrong! Cracking perspective and sky!
Fantastic impact!
Another style though your post processing isn't working very much for me, just subjective of course
Very striking shot Mal. Unsure of the sky though - personal preference, nothing more. Gives me the heebie-geebies
Lovely B&W tones
Reminds me of the Marsden archive. Lovely job.
50/10
'holy' sh-it mal, as if your ego requires any more stroking, ah well...braw braw creation sir..

how can you do this? how can you demonstrate the souls behind the scenes which are in fact invisible?
